Karate, MMA, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, and Kenpo in Utah
I have really enjoyed using the Utah Judo website to provide updates over the last year and a half on what my son and I have been learning and experiencing in Judo.
But I have a bit of a dilemma. As we move to our new gym this week (some group, new spot), we will also be learning Jiu Jitsu. I thought a bit about that, and the fact that my blog focuses primarily on Judo. As I thought about it, it got me thinking how neat it would be to have a single spot to go to if you want to read about, and learn about all of the martial arts in Utah.
To that end, I have opened the website Utah Martial Arts (unfortunately the domain name is “martialart” rather than “martialarts”. Someone is squatting that domain 
). This new site will automatically pull in updates from the Utah Judo website, but also from some of the best martial arts resources in the state. Currently we have great content coming in from an MMA site, as well as from a Kenpo sit, and I expect to be adding mroe styles over time.
I will still be doing all of my updates here on Utah Judo, so if you want to follow our class, this will be the place to read them. But if you want to, it will also all show up over at Utah Martial Arts as well.
I’m really excited about what this can do for marial arts, and the martial arts follows and practitioners in the state.
