I trained for about 6 years in Kiai Kenpo karate when I was younger and after years of distraction, am re immersing myself in defense training. I have been studying under Paul Evans for about 3 months and am absolutely sold that Krav Maga is a necessity for any serious students of self defense. All the practical basics that I learned from my previous training can be implemented into this training. Krav Maga offers through it's training an intense, very realistic recreation of the chaos and fatigue that exist in real life situations. It provides practical, intuitive solutions to the most common attacks that are easy to remember. The drills make these movements instinctual. Paul Evans is an amazing instructor with years of very relevant experience. Try it out. I freaking love it.

I have trained in several systems over the years and most recently krav maga with Paul Evans. This training is for people who are serious about self defense and real life combat applications. The emphasis is on conditioning and sudden unexpected attacks from determined attackers. Krav takes everything you already know and teaches you how to make use of it when everything goes to hell. No matter what your specialty is, krav maga will prepare you to use it when you need to, ready or not.

Paul,

I know that I speak for everyone in welcoming you to Utah Martial Arts. I have watched with interest as Krav Maga has been shown on such programs as Human Weapon, and Fight Quest. I am excited to see updates on what is happening within your Dojo, and what your students are learning. Welcome, and thanks!
