Utah Self Defense and Fitness
Review from a student:
I have been involved in martial arts at Utah Self Defence since I was eight. At the age of eleven i left the school due to matters out of my control. For a few years I stayed away but still tried not to forget everything I had learned. But there is nothing like being in the dojo.
At the age of 20 I came back and was welcomed back with open arms. Shi Han Ferrer has never questioned me about my heart or if I really wanted to train. Shortly after I got the news that I was going to have a son, and that pulled me away from the dojo again.
But this last May i returned back to the school for what I hope is my last time. My dad and I had talked and he has always said that
maybe i should check out this school or that school but there is only one school I will train at in Utah. That is Utah Self Defense.
I live in Salt Lake and there are plenty of schools around but none that i feel that have the heart and passion for what we do.
So my review for Utah Self Defense is simple: If you want your black belt in a year or even two this isn’t the school for you. But if you are looking to learn to protect yourself, get in shape and to learn a great respect for martial arts then this would be the school to be at.
